The top male and female trotters will win a free turkey! Runners of all ages are welcome and encouraged to run or walk in this event. The race will weave its way through the 77 acre Fischer's Park and use some of the scenic roadways surrounding the park. Fee to race: $20 on the day of the race. Save $3 if you pre-register. All pre-registered runners will get the classic long-sleeve official Turkey Trot 2010 T-Shirt. Additional t-shirts will be available on the day of the race on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration starts at 8am, so come early if you did not pre-register.
Towamencin Township is holding their annual Turkey Trot 5-K on Saturday, November 20th at 9am at Fischer's Park.
Race proceeds benefit the Towamencin Parks and Recreation department.
