Peace Valley Winery in Chalfont, PA has acres of fresh vegetables available to pick your own for 50 cents per pound!
Everything you can think of: tomatoes, grape tomatoes, zucchini, squash, eggplant, hot peppers, sweet peppers and more! Plus they have fresh corn, watermelon, and cantelopes available for picking.
Our recommendation (as true fans of this area of Bucks County, Pennsylvania):
Head to Peace Valley Park, home of the beautiful Lake Galena, for boating, fishing, biking, or hiking - whatever your fancy. There is so much to do there! Spend a few hours or most of the day.
Then stop by Peace Valley Winery for some fresh pick your own produce (next week the Concord grapes will be ready, and in early September, the apples will be ready). Be sure to taste their wines while there!
Then just around the corner, stop by Tabora Farms for some of the best baked breads and gourmet treats you ever had. They offer sandwiches and salads for a late lunch, early dinner or to take home.
Go now! Before the harvest is over! And enjoy, it is worth the trip.

That sounds absolutely wonderful, Scott! 50 cents a pound? WOW! :)

Wonderful post. I so reading to take your suggested tour. Veggies for 50 cents per pound. Nothing like that here in California. Nice post for your local market!
Leilani and Jeanean,
We don't find 50 cents a pound much around here either. But our recommendations would make for a great day out - we know because we did exactly that on Saturday and many times in the past (I just wish I thought to bring my camera).
