Your barns are just beautiful.  They are inspiring the urge for a road trip.

Lisa - When I was in Pennsylvania driving around in 2008, I couldn't get enough of the wonderful barns that dotted the landscape.  There are places in your state that act as illustration for the term, "Americana."  Your photos are very special!

Lisa - not only are these barns beautiful with the stunning fall backdrop, but you did an outstanding job of capturing their beauty. Makes me want to come visit your area..................of course with my camera. Beautiful - love them all and thanks for sharing!

Hi Lisa,

Beautiful pictures. I love the barns but also the colors are spectacular. I love red barns! Other colors are nice but something very special about red ones. Thanks for sharing.

Lisa. Makes me want to get in the car ad drive down for the tour. I love the 'barn' with the windows and star. Your photography s so good I can almost count each leaf.

Thanks Everyone!  We do have literally hundreds of barns in the area.  And they are all so incredibly different - all sorts of styles, uses, and condition.  Many people do come to PA for a road trip in the fall.  ActiveRainers are always welcome!

Cool pictures. Never see stone barns around here. And the last one is really close to the road!

Lisa - What a great series of barns.  We don't see barns out here on the left coast so I actually love seeing the other parts of the country that does have a lot of barns.

Beautiful! I especially like the second one from the bottom.  Very quaint barn.

Old barns are beautiful.  These are great looking.  If only they could tell us their history.

I love barns, I am especially fond of the first one.   Barns are my favorite subject in the Hudson Valley.

Thanks for sharing you PA Barns.

Very cool! I always thought a book of old barn photographs throughout the USA would be a neat coffee table book. Thanks for sharing your pictures!

You had me at barns.  I adore old barns, where ever they may be, and yours are fine indeed.
