Thanks Keith and Peggy, It is a fun, truly hometown parade with a lot of heart. The big joke is everyone is either in the parade or watching the parade. And since the cops are managing the parade, what a wonderful opportunity for the burglars. LOL

I'm confused. You say those are Mardi Gras pictures but they look like they are from a Christmas parade. I see Santa, a snowman, Christmas presents. Does Mardi Gras mean something different there in Lansdale?

Evidently, yes. Everyone wonders why they call it the Mardi Gras parade but they have been calling it that for 61 years.
