House Plants that Help

Aloe Vera Plant

Known as the plant of immortality, aloe is an excellent indoor plant, because it has a host of benefits and is easy to keep alive. Aloe Vera was listed a NASA’s top air-improving plant and has been shown to emit oxygen at night. Increased oxygen supply may help with insomnia and improved overall quality of sleep.

Lavender Plant

Lavender and lavender scent, in all its forms, has been shown to help reduce anxiety and stress, slow heart rate, improve sleep and may even help reduce crying in babies (and adults).

English Ivy Plant

Considered the best air-purifying plant by NASA, English Ivy has been shown to reduce airborne mold by up to 94%. Since contaminants of the air are triggers of allergies, asthma, and other breathing problems, English Ivy will significantly improve breathing and quality of sleep.

Snake Plant

Snake plants are also believed to improve air quality by filtering contaminants. Studies have shown that having a snake plant in a room helps people to avoid eye irritation, respiratory symptoms, and headaches. It also improves productivity levels.

Many plants are just asthetic to see when done correctly and not looking like a jungle
